Signature not working

I want to know if I'm doing something wrong.. I went to my profile and put in a signature but it's now showing when I post???

There is a setting in your preferences that allows you to display your signature.

The setting in your preferences doesn't turn on your signature. Your signature is always there, just not 'attached'.

The setting in your preferences makes it so that your signature is always attached when you post.
If you don't turn that setting on, then you just have to remember to check the 'attach my signature' box every time you post....
