Spectral Safari scorekeeping
In the coming weeks there is a scheduled Spectral Safari at a local store, and I was approached about running it. The main question I have is if I am to run this tournament, how do I go about tracking it with now tournament software? I have Mantis, but that seems inappropriate for a sanctioned tournament. Suggestions?

Hello,
At this time you can use any tournament software you'd like to run the Swiss pairings for your event.

Swiss means a player plays against a player who has the same score.
After the first game, a player that won will play another player that won and a player that lost will play againts a player that lost.

Pending on the amount of players you get you could have more then one undefeated player. So youll have to calculate tiebreakers.Hooblah wrote:swiss means one undefeated right ry?

Swiss is typically run with enough rounds to ensure that there is a maximum of 1 undefeated player.
4 players - 2 rounds
5-8 players - 3 rounds
9-16 players - 4 rounds
17-32 players - 5 rounds
33-64 players - 6 rounds
65-128 players - 7 rounds
