How do you send a PM?

I click on a user's name to see their page and it says, "You haven't got the rights to access this page"

There's an icon under a user's name.

Not only that, but there appears to be a find user feature in the PM system.

There is a 1 message limit before you can PM members. This avoids people creating accounts just to spam users.

You've reached the post limit by asking this question. You should now be able to PM using the "person" icon under the user's name.

Yes, they have notifications and they work!

You can either be emailed or notified or both!

I got notified and I never turned it on... So I assumed it's default on ^^

So i wanted to answer on a PM FrDrake sent to me, but I kind of sent it to my profile.

Now I'm wondering where it went...

I can find my initial sent message, but not the answer.

I accidentally saved it first, and then there was this button send to profile.

God knows where it went...

That was enlightening!

I suspect that it means they'll show up on your profile, which no one can see yet. I saw something in preferences about who could leave messages on your profile. Maybe a wall kind of thing?

Hmm. PMs are definitely working - my full inbox is proof of that.

You do have to have at least two or three posts before you can send a PM - it's unclear if the dialog means ">2" or ">=2".

Yes, you also have one of me... Though that one only refers to mails I have sent, which you probably have a full inbox of too...

I just tried to respond to a PM, and I can type in my message, but cannot find anywhere to click to post the message. Try to scroll on the side to go down further but it doesn't scroll down any. This seems like a bug or something...can you put post buttons on the top and bottom of that text entry area?

I've noticed that sometimes the buttons go away and all that is left is the underlying text. Perhaps that's what's happening here.
