Minis players are dyin' out here!

Dear Cryptozoic,

I know that you have heard this question before, but I have scoured the internet (not to mention Blizzard's forums) and cannot get any kind of information on the World of Warcraft miniatures game. One of the sites I had bookmarked (www.wowminis.com) automatically redirects me to your web site. So I (and many others, I'm sure) am holding out hope that mini's will be revived as the TCG was (I happen to like playing both). Do we have to wait until the Championships to hear any word on the mini's game? When the Souls of Vengeance expansion was first announced, I placed an order for a case (August 2009). It has been so long that I am considering canceling my order but I would hate to do so just to have to re-order it in a few weeks (or by the way things are going, months). Can you give us a tidbit, hint, clue, wink and a nudge to let us know whether or not production on the minis is truly dead??

Most competitive minis players have moved on. There is no OP support at any level and I would cancel your pre-order. As far we can tell, the minis game is dead. Hoping some rogue company with jumper cables comes along is all we can do; however, I would not put any money on that prospect.

I have never played it but I would think Cryptozoic might take over it if they should because I would love to get into it looks and sounds fun.

Nah, CZE is not doing anything with minis. I believe that Blizzard said they don't have any plans on what to do about the minis program right now, so I would also have to agree that canceling your preorder may be your best move right now. If you're looking on information about it, sometimes mmo-champion posts comments about what blizzard says about both the TCG and Minis, although they mostly are about the MMO.
