Loot Card code-hacking
I recently sold a lot of six unscratched loot cards via eBay. The buyer reported to me that 5 of the 6 codes worked just fine, but that the code for the Slashdance card had already been redeemed by someone on the EU server Nozdurmu (she redeemed all of the cards for US server Skywall).
I did some research and found that this has happened in the past, and it is most likely due to some sort of patient hacker who is willing to manually enter the security code every time he enters a random number into the system. What I couldn't find was any information on how to fix the problem. Quite the contrary, people seem to be getting passed back and forth between Blizzard and Cryptozoic.
Luckily this was a Slashdance card (of which I have many), so my specific problem can be resolved by just sending another code, but I would like to know what steps are being taken to assist people who have lost items that command greater value. I read of someone who spent $600 for an unscratched Spectral Tiger only to have the same result. Is something being done, and what should I do if this happens again with any of my loot cards?

That issue only occurs in the common loot cards afaik, and it is due to the same code being printed twice in 2 different cards.
I could be wrong though, would'nt be the first time :p

that is very possible if the codes are randomly generated which im very sure they are (there printed onto stickers for any1 that hasn't noticed already) then with the number of consumables printed for each set there is a very slim chance of it generating a code twice and with the number of them printed you cant have some1 sit and check them all
